RefWiki keeps browsing simple. There are no visitor accounts, submission forms or advertising trackers in our site code.
Language preference
RefWiki uses your browser languages to suggest a language. Your explicit choice is saved in browser local storage until you change it or clear site data. Language selection does not change country restrictions.
Browsing
Search and filters run in your browser. Search terms can appear in the page URL and browser history. RefWiki does not send search terms to a search or analytics service. Our hosting providers, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, process connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site.
Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, RefWiki sends page views, offer views, successful copies and link clicks to PostHog in the EU. Events include the page path, offer or product identifier, link placement, referring website hostname and a broad screen-size category. Search terms, full referral links and form contents are not sent. We do not record sessions or create named visitor profiles.
We store your choice in your browser for six months. If you allow analytics, a random identifier stored for the browser tab connects activity across pages; it expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. PostHog also receives connection information, including your IP address, when your browser sends an event. Event retention is one year on our current plan.
You can decline or withdraw at any time using Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawing stops future events and removes the tab identifier; it does not delete events already received. The site works without analytics. Blocking analytics or declining consent means our charts represent only part of the audience.
Fonts
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to download them, which shares connection information with Google. See Google Fonts privacy information.
Links to providers
Opening a provider link takes you to another website with its own privacy practices. Attributed referral links include an identifier for commission or reward tracking. Ordinary provider links are labelled.
If you email us, we receive your address and message to respond to the request. Our contact address uses Cloudflare Email Routing to forward incoming messages to our inbox provider. Do not send sensitive account information. You can contact us to request deletion of correspondence, subject to any records we must retain.
