Course, exam or both?
Start with Linux
Introduction to Linux (LFS101) is a free, self-paced course for experienced computer users with little or no Linux experience. It covers graphical tools and the command line.
Fundamentals of Open Source IT and Cloud Computing (LFS200) lists 10–15 hours of material and 12 months of access. Its training content covers topics tested by LFCA.
Check the exam format, syllabus, language and technical requirements separately. Completing a course does not by itself award an exam-based certification.
The retake policy generally allows one retake after an unsuccessful attempt. Single-attempt purchases and SkillCred exams are exceptions. Check the order’s deadline and any training-partner conditions before booking.
Our Linux Foundation US programme application is pending. No RefWiki discount is confirmed. Free training is a provider offer available independently of RefWiki.
